It is the end of arguably one of the most exciting Summer ever since the outbreak of Covid-19 in March 2020. And for many of us students, this would mean returning back to a busy schedule of endless courseworks. The Summer may have come to an end however, I guarantee the following list of songs by these up-coming Austrian artists will keep you in trend and help make the transition to the Fall season a bit smoother.
1. ‘Luh Luh' by Hoodiebeeb
As his first official single of the year 2022 so far, Austrian singer-rapper Hoodiebeeb makes proof of his versatile abilities with this afro-lounge banger entitled ‘Luh Luh’. Far from his previous releases and influences, this track can be compared to the likes of Bnxn fka Buju recent EP ‘Bad since ‘97’. Making use of his Nigerian roots and the type of sound he must have been exposed to being raised over there, the song is an instant catch of relaxing vibes and serenading lyrics. This would fall perfectly under your playlist of study music, while doing some homework on a fine evening. You can listen to the song here.
2. ‘Unopened Files‘ by GOOZE
New to the A&A Records label is none other than Austrian singer GOOZE with his captivating debut single ‘Unopened Files’. Following his recent signing, the young starlet is making a strong first impression right at the bat. The music video depicts a young man having fun and sharing cool dance moves with a group of friends. This could easily turn into the best song to loosen up after a long week, whilst recording yourself making a Tik Tok video and more. You can listen to the song here.
3. ‘Sacré’ by CRZ & OGD Featuring ADO
Back with an absolute banger after both of their appearances on single ‘IONESCU’ earlier this year, our favourite Austrian duo CRZ & OGD join forces on their recent collaboration entitled ‘Sacré’. With the fusion of German and English rap, the two artists go back and forth on a drill-inspired beat. As an additional treat, German-speaking featured rapper ADO really puts the track together with raw lyrics such as; “Kriege Nächte lang kein Schlaf”. Although the single is only a month old, this can be easily added to your gym playlist for extra motivation every morning routine and also, as a mood setter to be enjoyed on a night car ride with friends. You can listen to the song here.
